Originally for viola da gamba and figured bass, this duet arrangement includes variations that are often omitted from other editions. This arrangement is for flute duet with flexible instrumentation - the Flute 1 part is written for C Flute, and the Flute 2 part is written for your choice of C Flute or Alto Flute.
